MUNICIPAL ADVERTISEMENT BOROUGH OF NORTH CATASAUQUA Notice is hereby given that the Borough Council of North Catasauqua will conduct a public hearing to consider the adoption of the ordinance summarized herein, at a meeting to be held at the Office of the Borough of North Catasauqua, located at 1066 Fourth Street, North Catasauqua, Pennsylvania, 18032, on October 6, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. At said meeting, Council shall consider enacting, and if appropriate, will take a vote on adopting "An Ordinance of the Borough of North Catasauqua, Northampton County, Pennsylvania, Adopting Procedures for the Issuance of Tickets Prior to The Issuance of Citations for Violation of Certain Borough Ordinances." The proposed ordinance establishes procedures for the issuance of tickets for violation of certain quality of life ordinances, to address violations and encourage compliance before the issuance of a citation and enforcement of the same before the Magisterial District Court. The proposed ordinance also establishes a ticket fine structure and establishes a ticket appeal procedure. The full proposed text of said ordinance may be examined by any citizen at the Office of the Borough of North Catasauqua at the stated address, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. until the date of the aforesaid Borough Council Meeting. Copies of the proposed ordinance may be obtained for a charge not greater than the cost thereof.
