Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Hearing Board of Fountain Hill Borough will conduct a public hearing on Monday May 18th, 2026; at 7:00 PM, in the Borough Hall meeting room located at 941 Long Street, Fountain Hill, PA. Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, for the following zoning appeal:
ZHB-2026-05: For the subject property 580 Brighton St, Tax PIN 642734877015, pursuant to Section 111.D (1)(a) of the Borough of Fountain Hill Zoning Ordinance the appeal by property owner Judith Wright of the Zoning Violation Notice issued by the Zoning Officer and, in the event the foregoing appeal is not successful, the application for four (4) variances associated with the unpermitted rental use of the property. The property owner is also seeking variances from Section 202 regarding the defined terms "Family", "Dwelling Unit", and "Apartment", as well as Section 306.B. Table of Permitted Uses, to permit the continued single-family use.
The property owner is also requesting a special exception (805.F.(2) and (3)) to permit changing a nonconforming single-family detached dwelling use to a nonconforming single-family detached dwelling use together with a nonconforming dwelling unit. The subject property is located in the Industrial zoning district.
The above-mentioned property is located in Fountain Hill Borough, Lehigh County, PA. Copies of any corresponding plans, forms, etc. that were submitted can be made available for public inspection at Borough Hall during normal business hours. 1) 200 ton #8 Washed Stone - Delivered
2) 750 ton Superpave 9.5 mm Wearing Course - FOB
3) 300 ton Anti-Skid – Delivered
4) 200 ton Septic Sand (DEP Approved) or PennDOT Type A DEP Septic Concrete Sand – Delivered
5) 200 ton # 57 (2B Stone) - Delivered
Bids will be received until 12:00 noon on May 5, 2026 at the Township office 595 Hahn's Dairy Road, Palmerton, PA 18071, after which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. All bids shall be sealed, marked and addressed as follows:

Bidding documents for the materials to be supplied may be obtained at the Township Office at the address above upon request.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's check, or bid bond payable to Lower Towamensing Township and in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, as a security that if the bidder is accepted a contract will be entered into and the performance thereby properly secured.
Lower Towamensing Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and to accept any bid, which in its judgment, is in the best interest of the Township.
