NOTICE TO BIDDERS SEALED PROPOSALS will be accepted by the Walker Township Board of Supervisors until 12:00 noon on July 2, 2026, at the Township Building at 9 Township Road, Tamaqua, PA 18252 or by calling the Township Secretary Ann Ostergaard at 570-668-4603 and making special arrangements to deliver the bids. Office Hours are: By Appointment Only SEALED PROPOSALS will be accepted for the following: 2026 Bituminous Seal Coat 57,087 S.Y. of Single Bituminous Seal Coat All materials must meet PennDOT Publication 408 Specifications and Standards Bidders for the 2026 Bituminous Seal Coat proposal must be PennDOT prequalified and must supply proof of prequalification. Proposals must be on forms provided by the Township. Proposals should be marked "2026 Bituminous Seal Coat Proposal for Letting of July 2, 2026". Proposal forms, specifications and bid information can be obtained at the Township Municipal Building at the above address or by calling Ann Ostergaard at 570-668-4603. The bid must be accompanied by a cerified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the total bid made payable to Walker Township. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the awarded contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract. All bids will be opened and read publicly at approximately 12:00 noon on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at the Walker Township Municipal Building and pending review awarded on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at a special or regularly scheduled Walker Township Board of Supervisors meeting at approximately 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows.
