Appeal #11-2026 of Bertrand KG Famawa and Evelyne Famawa seeks relief concerning real estate located at 3211 Highfield Circle, Bethlehem Township, Northampton County. The relief requested is a dimensional variance from Bethlehem Township Zoning Ordinance Section 275-190.D(7)(b)[1][c], which requires that a fence located within a front yard be no higher than five feet; a variance from Bethlehem Township Zoning Ordinance Section 275-190.D(7)(b)[1][a], which requires that a fence located within a front yard be of open-picket design having a minimum 1:1 open to structural components; and, a dimensional variance from Bethlehem Township Zoning Ordinance Section 275-42.E(1), which requires a front yard setback for principal and accessory structures of 35 feet. Respectively, the applicant requests relief to permit a 6-foot-high privacy fence, thereby seeking a variance of 1 foot in height and a variance from the open-picket fence design requirement. Finally, the applicant requests relief to permit a patio with a 0-foot front yard setback, thereby seeking a variance of 35 feet. The real estate is located in the Light-Density residential (LDR) District, maintains Northampton County Tax Parcel Identification Number M7NW2 11 1 0205 and is described in Northampton County Deed Book Volume 2020-1, Page 086942.
Appeal #14-2026 of Ambridge and Sons, LLC seeks relief concerning real estate located at 1741 3rd Street, Bethlehem Township, Northampton County. The appellant seeks to appeal a "Notice of Violation" issued by the Bethlehem Township Zoning Administrator on April 21, 2026. The Zoning Administrator issued a "Notice of Violation" to the appellant regarding installation of a driveway expansion without a permit in violation of Bethlehem Township Zoning Ordinance Section 275-8, installation of a gravel driveway without a permit in violation of Bethlehem Township Zoning Ordinance Section 275-8, construction of a gravel driveway which does not conform to standards of Bethlehem Township Zoning Ordinance Section 275-144.E(1), construction of a driveway expansion that does not conform to Bethlehem Township Standard Construction Documents standards in violation of Bethlehem Township Zoning Ordinance Section 275-10.B(2), and failure to obtain a state Highway Occupancy Permit for a driveway expansion along Freemansburg Avenue in violation of Bethlehem Township Zoning Ordinance Section 275-144.D(6). The appellant is seeking a determination that the challenged improvements were preexisting and in their current state when the property was purchased and therefore the Zoning Administrator's determination is invalid. The real estate is located in the Medium-Density Residential (MDR) Zoning District and the Neighborhood Enhancement Overlay Zoning District, maintains Northampton County Tax Parcel Identification Number N7NE4 49 2A 0205 and is described in Northampton County Deed Book Volume 2021-1, Page 385425.

Notice of Request for Proposals for Professional Services Contract to Manage Borough Pension Accounts
Notice is hereby given that the Borough of North Catasauqua is accepting proposals for a professional services contract to provide services for the borough pension system, commencing on a date to be mutually agreed by the Borough and the selected Professional Services Contractor.
The proposed contract concerns professional services for management of the North Catasauqua Non-Uniform and Uniform Police Pension accounts in compliance with applicable law, plan requirements, investment policies and fiduciary standard, the disclosure of fees, compensation, conflicts, personnel, advisors and subcontractors as required by law, attendance at meetings as requested, transition assistance at commencement and termination of the engagement, and performance of all services contemplated by the proposed contract, including but not limited discretionary investment management, investment advisory services, account monitoring, reporting, fiduciary support, compliance assistance, and meetings with borough officials.
Interested applicants must obtain and complete a Procurement Packet, inclusive of: Request for Proposals, Proposal Application Form, Contractor Personnel and Disclosure Form1, Conflict-of-Interest Certification, and any required attachments by contacting the Borough as set forth below, or by visiting the Borough website at www.northcatasauqua.org
1 Applicants must submit all disclosures required by 53 P.S. § 895.702-A and this procurement packet, including disclosures concerning personnel who will provide professional services, advisors and subcontractors, current or former borough officials or employees, current or former registered federal or state lobbyists, responsibilities under the proposed contract, conflicts of interest, fees, and compensation. The Borough reserves the right to request resumes for disclosed individuals and to require updated disclosures as changes occur.

Following award of the professional services contract, all applications and disclosure forms shall be public, except for proprietary information or other information protected by law.
